BFRC talks testing at FIT
The British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC), the industry’s most trusted rating provider for over 25 years, is delighted to confirm they will be part of the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) stand at the upcoming FIT Show.
Being held at Birmingham’s NEC from 29th April to 1st May, this year’s show promises to be the biggest yet. Richard Sellman, BFRC Managing Director, explains what you can expect from them: “The FIT Show is the only dedicated show in the UK to focus on our industry, which is why it’s important for us to have a presence there. We’ve been really busy in the first quarter of 2025, implementing new testing and certification solutions and the FIT Show will provide us with the perfect platform to talk to people face to face about what those services are and how they can make a positive impact on what they do.
“Our new U-value Scheme is already proving popular, as is our most recently launched BS EN 1279 Part 6 testing and we aren’t stopping there, as we’ll be at the show sharing news of further testing and certification services that are launching imminently. We’ll also be happy to discuss the work our CWCT Testing team have been doing as well as other onsite testing such as gas concentrations which we can do using our Sparklike Laser Portable 2.1.
“We are exhibiting with our parent company, the GGF, who have partnered with FENSA for the show in order to showcase their recently launched online training platform. The entire stand will be dedicated to supporting the industry with value added solutions. In addition to the training offering on the stand, the GGF and FENSA will also be running a number of presentations as part of the seminar programme across the three days, so there are multiple chances to find out more. We will be working together to ensure that visitors come away from the show with a better understanding of what we do as a group and how our products and services can help the industry.
“If you plan to visit FIT, then please take time to come and see us all, on stand G40, where we will happily talk you through everything we’re doing and how it might help you.”
